About Us
Many, many thanks to my husband, Bob and my brother-in-law, Bill and Ted who put in countless hours for two months to transform Crooked River Cafe into Lucky 2B Quilting.
Come and see our new digs!
The old building has lots of architectural details like the stained glass transom windows, actually two pieces of stained glass, one behind the other! The bevel-edged leaded glass has been beautifully restored. Inspirations for quilt patterns?
Spacious, light and bright, and tons more room for fabrics and displays.
Lucky 2B Quilting was opened for business in January 2008 in the heart of Pecatonica by Polly Perkins and her cat named Lucky. Lucky was adopted from the Freeport Animal Hospital on a Friday the thirteenth. He has a wishbone on his face. Surely he is a lucky kitty and provides luck to all customer projects. Polly Perkins, shop owner, has tons of experience teaching and quilting.
Polly can do custom work -- to finish a quilt with hand quilting, make a commemorative quilt, or design one to fill a special need or special gift.
Polly's sister Sally is also a knowledgeable quilter and is available to help you with quilting questions and lessons.
