Classes

Lucky 2B Quilting hosts classes every month to help you learn more about quilting and other crafts and to provide a social outlet for friendly sewers.

Please call (815) 239-1026, email or stop in the shop to sign up ahead of time so that you are guaranteed the materials needed for the class or project.

If you would like a class but cannot make it on the date/time scheduled, please let me know and it may be offered again.

 

Sampler 2 Class

Develop your skills with a Sampler.

Sampler 2 will begin in November. Every month, one 12" block will be presented with a lesson featuring specific quilting techniques.

This sampler can be done by a beginner but also offers options for more challenge for the advanced quilter. We will "play" with the blocks to find out what repeated blocks look like if they were the only block used to make a whole quilt.

1st Thursday 9:00 or 3rd Saturday 9:00

$5.00 / month
$6.00 / month for batiks

This includes instruction, patterns and fabric for the blocks. Setting for the blocks, backing and binding is extra.

 

 

 

 

 

Stellar Stars

Make a stunning star quilt. Choose the correct color palette, learn techniques presented in this new book. A great project to have ready to work on in the winter months.

Three sessions:
1) choosing pattern and colors,
2) cutting techniques, and
3) piecing the first block.

Primitive Fall Wall Hanging

Put together a fall wall hanging using various piecing and appliqué techniques.
